Empty Promises From The Past

How can you say it simply

If love means nothing to you.

You let me surrender.

You breathe into me.

There was never hope.

But love prevails.

I see. It was never a true love.

Only passion, lust, loneliness.

You shut me out, again.

I was nobody to you, like them.

Love (lust) is your way to fulfill.

To satisfy your hunger and emptiness.

I was stripped, bare.

Open to your stare, stroke.

Then you let me go, I’m no more.

Left with empty promises…
